Who we are

Vanguard Data ("Vanguard", "we") provides B2B prospect data to managed IT and cybersecurity firms. Contact: privacy@vanguarddata.io.

Information we collect

From customers and visitors: your name, work email, company and the details you enter when you request a preview or subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Business data: company-level facts about businesses (name, category, address, website, phone) from public records and openly licensed business-listing data, and the general business contact details each business publishes for enquiries. We do not collect named individuals' personal email addresses.
Public technical records: publicly published technical records about company domains. We never access, probe or scan anyone's systems.
Usage data: basic logs (time, pages requested, IP address) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To provide, bill and support the service.
To deliver business records to our customers for B2B outreach (our legitimate business interest).
To contact businesses about our own service. Every message identifies us and includes a way to opt out.
To keep records showing where each data record came from.

Sharing

We share business contact records with our subscribing customers, and personal data with service providers that run the service for us (hosting, payments, email delivery, data providers, AI text generation). We do not sell personal information to data brokers. Customers may not resell the data we deliver.

Opting out

Anyone can ask us to stop all contact and remove them from future deliveries at vanguarddata.io/unsubscribe or by emailing privacy@vanguarddata.io. We add opt-outs to a global do-not-contact list, honor them across all customers, and do not deliver opted-out contacts again.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado or other U.S. states), you may have rights to know, access, correct or delete personal information about you. Email privacy@vanguarddata.io and we will respond within the time the law requires. We currently do not knowingly deliver contact data for people located in the EU, UK or Canada.

Retention and security

We keep customer account and billing records as long as needed for the service and legal obligations. Business contact data is refreshed or removed when it is no longer accurate or when someone opts out. We use encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege access to protect data.
